From a very early age I knew I wanted to go into the graphic arts. My first work experience, back in high school, was working at a graphic design studio. It was a fascinating experience in the pre-computer days. This was a renaissance time when “designers” would often do many things themselves, from rendering type by hand, creating illustrations, and a loose pencil sketch could convey so much to a client.

Much of my career, both freelance and in staff positions, has been designing book covers in the educational publishing field. It was always a satisfying experience creating the "look" for a very broad range of topics.

I am a creative and insightful designer with excellent typography and layout skills. I am enthusiastic about taking on a wide variety of design assignments. I possess an unwavering, career-long reputation for distinctive excellence and innovative design work, creative problem solving, proactivity, excellent organizational capabilities, setting high standards with a focus on cost effectiveness, and personal pride in my work.
